Dream Interpretation Types of Dreams: A Few Introductions Before Interpretation

The interpretation of the dream tabire khab dream is divided into three types

  • Angel’s words: This is the true and evangelical dream of God for His servants.
  • The word of the devil: This is the false dream of the devil to make man sad.
  • The word of the soul: This is the dialogue of man waking up with his soul, which he sees in a dream, and has no meaning.

Verse: Joseph: 6).

“And it teaches you from the interpretation of dreams.”

It includes the three types of dreams. Look at the word (hadith) that God has collected and not said hadith.

Al-Bayawi has said: It means; Teaches you the interpretation of dreams. Because if the word is an angel, it is a true dream, and if it is the word of the soul and the devil, it is a false dream. [1]

The Prophet PBUH has said: (There are three types of dreams: 1- The dream of truth. 2- The dream resulting from the dialogue of the human soul with itself. 3- The sad dream from the devil) [2] .

And passers-by are divided into five types:

1- Some people trust only some secrets in their interpretation, ie in (selective attitude). In this attitude, the dreamer’s right is lost, because the dream is a complete and interconnected event, the breakdown of which harms the viewer.

2- Some of them trust (consensual attitude) with the books of the previous interpretation in this interpretation, in this attitude, the real world of the dreamer is violated and goes beyond, because the real world of each generation is different from the other generation.

3- Some people in their interpretation trust only in (inspirational attitude) and consider it as one of the characteristics of the translator, and this is contrary to the practice of the predecessor, because no evidence has been obtained for its correctness and no habit has been imposed on it.

4. Some have relied only on (psychological attitude) in their interpretation, such as; Psychologists and their adherents, as well as other aspects of the tradition, such as the sincere dream and the evil dream, have neglected it.

5. Some believe in (evolutionary attitude) in their interpretation, ie; They collect all the secrets and get enough knowledge about the dreamer. This last oath is the same method that agrees with the Shari’a and the opinion of the scholars of the predecessors and the successors, which, God willing, our method in this book will be based on.

A dream is a language of painting that, if the mysteries and its contents are skillfully separated, and connected to the real world, becomes a perfect line that solves many of the problems of our lives, and prepares us to face them. And becomes a source of knowledge and inspiration.

Importance of dream discussion:

Talking about a dream, its rules and regulations is very important, especially in this time and time when truth is mixed with falsehood, and those who talk about the dream and its interpretation are not the ones who do it.

The factors that encouraged me to address this important issue are summarized below:

  • The exaggeration of some in the appreciation and respect of the dream and raising its status where it does not deserve it, to the extent that they considered it as legislation and thereby violated God’s law, and based on the dream they saw, made halal haram, and haram halal, And they claimed to have known about some of the unseen.
  • The contempt and neglect of some for the dignity of the dream, which they did not value at all, and considered as the words of old women, superstitions and myths.
  • To explain and express the middle ground about the dream in a way that is neither extremist nor sluggish. Because a dream is not vain and insane, just as it is not a revelation or a law, but some of them are true, and some are false.
  • Because of the connection between dreams and reality and people’s lives. Many, especially women, talk about it a lot. The above factors made me explain and express the dream.

The value of a dream and its importance in Islam:

Unlike those who do not value sleep, God Almighty has given sleep a great status and importance, which you can clearly see in the future benefits of the dream.

1- The benefit of a dream is to unite the way of revelation:

Aisha says: (The first thing that the revelation of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, began with was a sincere dream. The Prophet of God, peace be upon him, revealed every dream he saw like the dawn of the morning …). In another hadith the Prophet said: ” Alrvya part of me is my Jz’a Varbyn Alnbvh “: “Sleep is Jz’y forty-six parts of prophethood.”

And the reason that dreams are part of prophecy is that in the dream things happen that man is unable to do in the real world, such as; Flying, flipping objects and becoming aware of a part of the science of the unseen.

The people of truth agree that the sincere dream is the truth and from God. No one denies it except the atheists and a group of Mu’tazilites [1] .

Al-Khattabi has said: In the meaning of a sincere dream, it has been said: A sincere dream agrees with prophecy, not the remaining part of prophecy. And some have said: The sincere dream is part of the science of prophecy, because although prophecy has ended, but its knowledge remains. Khatabi ends his speech with the words of Imam Malik, which was narrated by Ibn Abd al-Barr and asked Imam Malik: Can anyone interpret a dream? He replied: Is it possible to play prophecy, so he said: Dream is a part of prophecy, and prophecy cannot be played?Khattabi replied that Imam Malik did not mean that the true dream of prophethood remained, but he meant that because the true dream is similar to prophecy in terms of knowing a part of the unseen, it is not permissible to talk about it without knowledge.

Ibn Batal has said: The fact that a dream is a part of prophecy adds to the dignity and glory of the dream, even if it is one of a thousand parts. It is said that the word prophecy is derived from the word (prophets) and (prophets) in the word means to announce and spread news, so according to this, the meaning becomes that the dream is true news from God, just as prophecy is true news. From God, in which no lie is allowed [2] . So the dream is similar to the prophecy in the truth of the news.

Abu Darda asked the Prophet of God about this verse that God says:

For them is the good in the life of this world, and in the Hereafter there is no change for the word of God. (4) He is the one who sleeps.

“They are happy in this life and in the Hereafter; Divine promises are inviolable! ” This is the great salvation! “

(Good news for them in this world and in the Hereafter).

Prophet said: (We venues Ahad be pleased with Ghyrk Mnz Nzlt, hey Alrvya feed Yraha Muslim cardboard or more crush) : (the day when this verse was revealed to no one but you ask about that yet (for the man in verse) dream Salhhay is That either the Muslim sees it himself or another dreams of it) [3] .

Benefit 2 – The dream is a proof of the unseen and the hereafter:

One who doubts the unseen and circumstances of the Hereafter or wants more reasons to prove them, refers to a dream that finds many reasons and examples.

* Perhaps man doubts the reality of the torment on the soul. He sleeps in a clean and cool room, and in his sleep he suffers in pain contrary to what he is, and wakes up disturbed while sweat is pouring from his head and face, and at this time he realizes that the heat and warmth that sleeps on the soul He is found to have far more effect than the coldness that has been inflicted on his body in the real world. So he immediately believes that not only does the soul suffer, but also the suffering caused by the torment overshadows the comfort of the body.

And this is the state of the world. So what will the Hereafter be like?

* Man is amazed at the state of the Hereafter, because the intellect cannot comprehend it because it is not available, but when he observes some of the conditions of sleep, his surprise disappears. He travels to many countries in a dream that lasts, say, ten minutes. Sees. He sleeps and does a lot of work that takes several days if he wants to do it in the real world. So how are these things done? How did he memorize some of the texts, and still remember the conversations he had with some people, even though they were long ?! Isn’t this a reason that the afterlife does not enter the human heart?

3- The huge benefit that comes from the dream:

It is a sincere dream from God, so it has many benefits. Including:

* God’s steadfastness, strength and power to the believers. So the Hadith states: ” Anne-La because, except per end Almbshrat, Fqalva : We Hey O Messenger of Allah, fireproof: Alrvya feed Yraha Momin crushed cardboard or more .”

“At the end of time there is nothing left but evangelism. They said: O Messenger of God, what is the good news? They said a dream … “.

It is also stated in the hadith: “In the end of time, the dream of the believer will not be denied.”

“In the end, the believer’s dream will almost never come true.”

Because at a time when the number of helpers is decreasing and the number of enemies is increasing, the believer needs more stabilization and help from God.

* An honest dream is the beginning of good in the affairs of the Hereafter. Some Muslims, such as Fadhil ibn Ayyaz, Malik ibn Dinar, and others, old and new, have been guided to the truth by it, and in others it has increased their faith and piety. Like what happened to Abdullah Ibn Umar M. through a famous dream that the Prophet PBUH interpreted and said: ” Blessed is the man Abdullah Lu Lu Kan Yasli Man Al-Layl[4] .

“Abdullah is the best man if he prays at night.”

After this, Abdullah did not sleep at night except for a short time.

* An honest dream is also the beginning of good in world affairs. Like the meaning of a dream on a day, on a cure, etc., there are countless examples in this case. How many patients see with their own eyes the person who has a sore eye, or reach a secret that heals by taking the effect of that person [5] .

Factors of dream repetition:

1- The dream owner pays attention to what he sees in the dream. If a person values something a lot and engages in it in the real world, he will probably dream about it, and this is due to his heart trouble. If he is engaged in religious affairs, he dreams of something that is suitable for him, such as; The companions of the Messenger of God who recounted their dreams to the Prophet PBUH every day. If he is engaged in worldly affairs such as marriage, education or business, then he often dreams of something that is suitable and compatible with them.

2- Inability and impossibility to achieve something: If all the doors are closed on a person to achieve a goal, he will dream of conquest and opening for himself or an alternative. This is why prisoners sleep a lot, as is the case with the two prisoners who are with Yusuf; They were prisoners, it happened. Maybe it will bring them some peace and stability.

One of them says:

We spend from the world and we are from the people     We have the dead in them and the resurrection
جاذا جاءنا السجان یوما لحاجة     Wonder and tell us where this is from the world
ونفرح بالرؤیا فجلّ حدیثنا     If we have narrated the hadith from the dream

“We are from the world while we are out of it. We are neither part of the dead nor part of the living. If one day the jailer comes to us for a need, we will be surprised and say that he came from the world. We enjoy our dreams, and whenever we wake up in the morning, most of our conversations are about dreams.

3- The face of wisdom has kept it hidden from man, but man, with his curious nature, wants to achieve its knowledge. He turns to the priest, the fortune teller, etc., and forgets that God does not accept the prayers of those who go to them for forty days, and if they acknowledge them, they become infidels. But the believer turns to the dream. In the hope that God will show him the promise or avoidance of evil.

Sleep and its related factors cover a large part of our day and night. It has happened to most of us that we have dreamed for days and weeks. Keeping our minds busy and accessing a source and reference that can enlighten and guide us in interpreting dreams can relieve this mental confusion.

  1. deep sleep,
  2. Temporary sleep.
  1. Nap,
  2. Ecstasy.

Dream interpretation tabire khab and factors affecting it

Various factors are effective in interpreting sleep. Sleep time, place to sleep, and even sleep patterns and occupations of the dreamer affect the dreams a person has.
For example, if a person dreams of drinking milk, it means gaining wealth, but if a student has such a dream, it can indicate the study of science. Also, most dreams are influenced by carnal fantasies, and those fantasies are strongly influenced by external factors such as heat and cold, or factors such as illness and fullness of the stomach.
Also, some moral traits such as jealousy, enmity, arrogance, greed, kindness can be effective in people’s dreams and dreams.

The exact reason why time  plays a role in the  interpretation of tabire khab dream is not clear to us and we can only refer to the times mentioned in the narrations. For example, in the book Haliyeh al-Muttaqin by Allama Mohammad Baqir Majlisi (Qom, Hijrat Publications, 1373, p. They are not interpretations. Dream interpretation

But this does not mean that it is only in these times that the dream is true, but most true dreams are seen in these times. It is even stated in some texts that some nights of the month of sleep are false, some nights of sleep are completely correct, some nights are true but occur with a delay, and some nights of sleep have the opposite meaning.

Types of sleep

“Snooze” is a state between sleep and wakefulness and has a short time. This condition occurs everywhere, including on the bus, behind the desk, etc., which sometimes leads to dreams, and it is interesting that when we wake up, we say to ourselves, in this short time, how did I get to these places ? And many things happened to me? This is also one of the wonders of the dream world.

“Ecstasy” is another type of short-term sleep. Finding this condition has different meanings in different people. Men of God are in this state when they mention and pay attention to the origin of creation, moments and sometimes short minutes. As a result of being separated from the material world, they have pleasant observations in the spiritual world that, when awakened, are able to recall the words of inspiration of the kind they heard in the trance during that time.

But what is sleep itself?

In the Qur’an, in Surah An’am (verse 59) it is stated: (And He is the God who, when you sleep at night, takes your soul to Himself and kills you and knows your deeds during the day, then temporary death (Sleep) motivates you to reach a deadline that is determined by fate and fate.)

We all know the physical state of sleep. Because we need sleep to meet our physical needs. Our body remains motionless at rest during sleep, while we have no waking movements, but our body parts are active in the same state of stillness. The heart is beating, the blood is flowing and breathing. When we go to sleep, our souls are fed in the dream world. In a world where all the criteria are different from the criteria of the waking world in terms of time and speed.

Sleep, evangelist,

It is instructive and sometimes warning. What we have done in the past shows us the results, good or bad, and what we should do in the future. Until we are accounted for in the Hereafter, let us calculate our own deeds and try to correct the perversions.

Aristotle in his book (Perceptible) calls this intellectual power “active intellect” and says: The right dream and according to reality, is that the general intellect shows a face to a partial intellect in a dream and that whenever the Almighty God does something for Man determines, informs him and shows him the face of that thing in a dream, so that he is aware of what will happen in the future.

In a part of the book Tafsir from Publishing House (Brothers Garnier Paris) translated by Ms. Manijeh Kiafer, it is stated: The dream often tells about future events, that is, it has the power of foresight.
In this book, Moon Cook writes: Abraham Lincoln dreamed that he was dead, only the sobs of the people breaking the silence. When he got up, he visited several halls of the White House, and finally saw a coffin in the middle of a room with a covered corpse and some soldiers guarding it.
Lincoln asked the congregation, “Who is dead?”
The soldier replied: President, he has been killed!
The mentioned case is mentioned based on awareness of the future and warning in the dream world. It is noteworthy that many inventors and explorers in the dream world have achieved their invention and discovery, and this brings the importance of this world.

The science of dream interpretation tabire khab

It is a great and honorable science and the Almighty gave this knowledge to Yusuf (AS) and bestowed it on him, as he has said in the Glorious Word: (And thus Maknaliusuf on earth and my knowledge is the interpretation of hadiths).
It is narrated from Abu Dharr that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: It is a revelation from God Almighty to the believing servant who informs him of the good and evil that will come to him before good or evil reaches him, so that the servant does not become proud of the world and does not neglect the command of God.

Amir al-mu’minin Ali (AS) said: Because a believer has a dream, it is obligatory for him to know its interpretation in order to benefit from it and get happiness. But if someone has a bad dream, he should not tell that dream to anyone and should avoid bad sleep and pray and give alms.

Muhammad Ibn Sirin says: The narrator must know the interpretation of the Qur’an and be shrewd and mystic. And reward and goodness will flow on his tongue, and the Almighty God will teach the interpretation of a dream to someone who has a pure nature, avoids eating forbidden food and saying evil words.
